WEIGHTED! SCAM OR REAL? THIS GUY WAS FUNNY!

I was bathing in the heat at the lake and there's only a bus every 1.5 hours, so I had to wait a really long time... but then a guy came running up and asked me if he should give me a lift. Sure, really nice! When we walked through the forest and I asked him about his relationship status, it got weird... he said he had a girlfriend, but there was nothing going on... do I believe him? Do I believe him? Is it really such a victim or just a scam? I wanted to find out :D
